Sensory-Cognitive Integration Support Programs

In some people, if the flow between sensory/sensory perception and motor response is impaired, there are problems with activities of daily living. However, when this flow/regulation is worked on, the child’s interaction with the outside world is increased. Learning difficulties and behavioral problems can be seen in children who have such problems, who tend to avoid or increase the stimuli in the environment (such as loud noise, bright light). In order to prevent these or to make the child’s quality of life tolerable, activities that will improve balance, body awareness, taste, smell, tactile (touch), vision and hearing senses are aimed to improve the child’s gross and fine motor movements, cognitive, social, emotional and communicative skills.

Remember that “every person learns”, it is just a matter of adapted training to process the information. Our training programs are guided by fun activities and enable people to challenge themselves according to their abilities, to discover new things, to achieve success and thus to be encouraged to further develop their skills. Through our programs, the aim is to enable the person to respond functionally to input from the environment in active, meaningful and enjoyable ways. Over time, the skills acquired can be used at home, at school and in the social environment.

All these activities help the person to gain independence in many areas such as socialization, eating, dressing, sleeping patterns, self-expression, and increase the quality of life.

The most ideal study is a family-centered study. Adapting all activities to the home under the guidance of experts and repeating them at home by the parents will make a great contribution to the child’s development in a faster and more effective way.
