Adult and Family Counseling

The family is the smallest social structure in society. Any problem within this structure affects the whole system. Family counselors work with family members to solve problems that lead to relationship and communication disorders that negatively affect the interaction and psychology of family members.

The aim here is not only to solve the problems experienced by the family, but also to provide new skills that will make it easier for family members to get to know and understand each other better and to draw clear and flexible boundaries. The impact of a problem experienced by any one of the family members covers the whole family and the whole family plays a decisive role in the solution process. In addition to interpersonal problems within the family, experiences such as death, chronic illness or the departure of a family member from home that affect the whole family can make it difficult for family members to cope with them. Family counseling addresses all of these as necessary.

Through this service, our center aims to provide counseling to individuals who intend to start a family, to identify and eliminate the conflict and communication problems of parents with their children and each other, to support the development of constructive communication models, to plan and implement mediation services before divorce, to prepare and implement an adaptation program to eliminate the negativities that family members may experience after divorce, It aims to provide counseling to single-parent families, to carry out activities to prevent domestic violence, to refer them to institutions and organizations providing services in mental health and diseases in line with the needs, and to help them overcome the traumatic experiences experienced by the family with the least damage.
