Private Noah’s Ark Family Counseling Center is a center that provides counseling services to families on all issues, while providing a quality and holistic learning environment for children with different developmental needs and supporting the psychological development of all children. It has been serving on the Anatolian side since July 2015.
Based on the difficulties Mine Nişlioglu faced and the experiences she gained while raising her son Nuh, who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, the center, which she founded with the support of a staff of experts in their fields, uses the latest scientific methods.
At the Private Noah’s Ark Family Counseling Center, programs to support the development of children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders, hyperactivity, attention disorder, learning disabilities and other developmental delays are offered and children are supported in all areas where problems are seen. At the same time, in order to maximize the individual development and social integration of children with special development, support programs are carried out in school and social life areas. In all support programs, cooperation is established with families, teachers and educational institutions. The center also provides family counseling services to families who want to receive support for their children and the problems they are experiencing.
Psychological counseling services are also provided in order to follow the developmental period of children with normal development and to ensure that some problems are alleviated, partially eliminated or completely eliminated. Using games and toys, support programs are implemented to help children express themselves and their problems.
Mine Nişlioğlu, the founder of the center, says, “I have experienced what every mother whose child has any developmental disorder or problem will experience. I know what needs to be done, in which areas there are deficiencies, what should be taken into consideration and what should be ignored, the financial and moral difficulties of the process, the money spent and the rates of gain, the meaning of individual education programs, how a child should be developed academically, what it means to get information and set goals, the importance of not being satisfied with less and always aiming for more, what it means to succeed and fail…” This is the biggest difference of the Private Noah’s Ark Family Counseling Center; the experience gained through personal experience.
The second most important difference of the center is that it offers family counseling services to help families cope with all kinds of problems both for their children and themselves, services to support the development of differently developing/special learning children in a quality and holistic environment, and psychological counseling services for all children in the development process under a single roof.
