Begüm Emeçtimur graduated from Marmara University, Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance. During her undergraduate semester, she continued her internships at Self Psychology Academy, Beşiktaş Anatolian High School and Atatürk Science High School and gained the necessary observation and experience. In the same period, she participated in the Psychodrama Student Groups training within the International Zerka Moreno Institute-Istanbul Psychodrama Institute & Counseling Center, which aims to enable students in the field to experience the psychodrama method.
After successfully completing her undergraduate education, she completed Marmara University Family Counseling education and received the title of “Family Counselor”. After her graduation, she worked in a private psychological counseling center for four years with groups of children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, special learning disabilities, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and their families. She has a good command of English.
Begüm Emeçtimur continues to pursue her master’s degree program in Developmental Psychology at Maltepe University. She is currently working as a psychological counselor, family counselor and institution manager at Private Noah’s Ark Family Counseling Center.
